Fjordpanel is a multi-functional material that combines structural and insulating properties with outstanding technical specifications. A high strength to weight ratio and high toughness also allow manual handling of relatively thin Fjordpanel panels.
Non-combustible
Fjordpanel has been extensively tested and complies with the requirements in the following Regulations/Standards:
Annex A.1, item No. A 1/3.13 and Annex B, Module B in the Directive. SOLAS 74 as amended, Regulation II-2/3 II-2/5, II-2/9 & X/3, 2000 HSC Code 7 and IMO 2010 FTP Code.
Installation Fjordpanel/laminat 6mm, as lining with Fjordpanel profile system.
Composite technology
- Silicate foam matrix.
- Basalt fibre reinforcement.
- Organic content is less than 5%.
- Can be machined with standard tools for wood and metal.
Sizes
- Standard panel size 2500 x 1200mm.
- Standard thickness 4 & 6 mm (single layer).
- Density range 300 - 500 kg/m3.
